Sheriff’s Deputies Answer Calls

Langlade County Sheriffs Deputies dealt with some malfeasance Tuesday. They got a call from Orchard Road where a resident reported that he was checking his pheasant pens and cameras and discovered that the card was gone from one camera. Footprints were seen nearby and a possible suspect identified, reports the Antigo Daily Journal. Also, late Tuesday afternoon, deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding near the intersection of
Badger Avenue and Superior Street. The smell of pot was detected and when police told the driver they were going to search his car, he turned over a pipe and marijuana. He’s being charged with pot and paraphernalia possession.
