Antigo Man Faces Charges After Alleged Knife Threat

An Antigo man stands accused of threatening another man with a knife. 53 year old Steven H. Steckbauer of
1211 Fourth Ave., pleaded not guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct and use of a dangerous weapon. He’s been ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim. According to the complaint, Antigo police responded to a city residence last month, where a witness informed that there had been an argument between Steckbauer and the alleged victim, during which multiple witnesses saw Steckbauer, pull out a knife, threaten the other man and put the knife to his throat. When placed under arrest Steckbauer pulled a silver knife with pink flower
emblems and an open seven inch blade from his pocket.
